AUTHOR:
Gary Pendleton grew up with his 4 brothers in Perry Point, Maryland, on the banks of the Susquehanna. He has always been fascinated by art, music, and the natural world. He is a graduate of The University of Maryland, College Park. In his mid-40s he began to pursue art seriously and became an accomplished painter in oils and watercolour. He is also known for his work in the medium of scratchboard. For 12 years he wrote and illustrated a column for a local newspaper. Gary is currently President of the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association.
