Nicholas Courtney is an author, broadcaster and lecturer. A land agent by profession he ended up managing the Island of Mustique in its pioneer days. He began writing non-fiction on his return to England. Amongst his 23 published works are several Royal biographies and related works - In Society, the Brideshead Years, the award-winning Gale Force 10, the life and legacy of Admiral Beaufort and The Lord of the Isle, the Extravagant Life and Times of Colin Tennant.
