The popularity of beekeeping has surged in recent years in response to widespread concern about colony collapse disorder and declining populations of these key pollinators. Since it was first published in 2010, Storey’s Guide to Keeping Honey Bees has become the go-to reference for every aspect of beekeeping, from planning hives and installing a colony to keeping bees healthy, preventing disease, and managing healthy and productive hives that will produce bountiful honey harvests year after year. The second edition of this best-selling manual features full-colour photography and illustrations, updated health information, and a larger trim size.
